Wondering what would be matching with Zaha Hadid’s work and an international office? We gave the answer for you in this project. We fearlessly integrated curvillinear form language and blended in executive lounge vibes. All of this craftsmanship is to redefine the paradigm for comtemporary office space.

- The 2450m2 open office plan is massive in scale. Core of this project takes most of nagative space leaving the most window facing space with 360 degree view to Zaha’s work of Cultural and Arts center.
- The column grid is equally spacing in the plan providing highly flexible floor arrangements, also providing the constraint to work with.
- The entrances are too conventional. We need to direct visitors and occupants the optimal flow.

Solution
- We designed a grand lobby using curvillinear form language to integrate with the outdoor view of Zaha’s work.
- We designed a lounge space with bar and relaxing seatings.
- We designed a executive space with integrated furniture and also a great view.

New modes for comtemporary office
We are questioning ourselves: what’s the work style of in the decades to come. Several keywords come into our mind as we explore this topic: flexible, balance and natural. Working with these dimensions, we developed a open office plan and applied greenery and abundance of natual lighitng into the space.
At the same time, we used modern office amenities and equipments empowering this international firm.

We applied minimal decorations to the existing equipment ceiling and we adopted a lot of light partition to the space making the entire office looking more open and welcoming while infusing a sense of collaboration and community.

“Brick veneer texturizing the space”
The brick veneer is the hightlighting of the space we created for the leisure area while it also permeates through into the office space. It gives a texturizing touch to the space which relaxes the eyes while building the brand identity for our industry leader client.
“Atmospheric lighting”
Lighting is the most inviting ingredients in our design. We carefully curated fixtures to providing layered lighting to the tasks, atmospheric and accentuation.
“Matching tones of furniture”
Wood and brown leather furnishing is our choice because it goes great with the brick veneer. The overall dark tone gives the leisure space its definition, giving the occupant a change of mood while hanging out with their clients or colleagues. Comfort is key to our arrangement too.

The room features a long, white conference table with a glossy finish, complemented by ergonomically designed white chairs on wheels. The ceiling is adorned with flowing, wave-like patterns that add a dynamic aesthetic to the otherwise clean and neutral color palette of the space.
The room is well-lit, with natural light streaming in through large, glass-paneled walls and windows, giving it an open and airy feel. The glass partition creates a sense of transparency while maintaining a private atmosphere. The light gray carpet adds subtle texture and warmth, balancing the overall minimalist design. This space is ideal for professional and creative collaboration.

This executive office exudes sophistication and luxury through its modern yet inviting design. The space is divided into distinct functional areas, including a formal workspace with a dark wooden desk and black ergonomic chairs, and a casual lounge area featuring plush white sofas and a low-profile coffee table. The soft gray carpet ties the zones together, adding warmth and texture.
A key design feature is the textured stone accent wall, which adds a natural, earthy touch and contrasts beautifully with the sleek cabinetry and dark wood finishes. The ceiling showcases a stunning circular recessed design with perforated patterns, creating a focal point that subtly illuminates the room.

The room features a simple rectangular desk paired with sleek black chairs on wheels, providing functionality and ergonomic support for collaborative or individual work. A black leather chair in the foreground suggests a comfortable seating option for visitors or more relaxed discussions.
Natural light filters in through large windows equipped with horizontal blinds, offering adjustable privacy and light control. A lush green plant in the corner adds a touch of nature, creating a calming and inviting atmosphere within the predominantly neutral and muted color palette.

How long did the whole project take?
75 days, two and a half months.
How do you define contemporary office space?
Contemporary office space not only reflects the changes in modern working methods, but also carries multiple demands of corporate culture, employee needs and future development; it is a product of the combination of flexibility, health, technology, culture and sustainability, and is an innovative place that meets the needs of modern working modes. It is not only a functional existence, but also an experiential space that can inspire creativity and enhance happiness.
What is the most satisfying part of this project? Why?
The dynamic coordination of curves is perfectly implemented; under limited conditions, it subverts the straight lines and geometric regularity of traditional buildings, adopts flowing curves and non-linear spaces, breaks the inherent boundaries of architectural forms, and gives the space a sense of the future.
How did this project cooperate with the client, and what collisions of thoughts were generated?
After the client gave the requirements, the designer made an overall plan and controlled the implementation; it was not the first time to cooperate, the client respected the designer very much, and the connection with the client was relatively smooth during the process.
What challenges were there in this process?
The dynamics of the curves, the streamlined shape of the whale at the front desk, and the unique coordination of the starry sky ceiling in the chairman’s office.
Compared with other office spaces, what is unique about this project?
The curved interior space breaks through the straight-line rules of traditional architecture and design, and uses flowing forms, soft visual effects and dynamic sense of space to bring a flowing, soft, energetic and futuristic feeling to the office environment.
